About Codynet
What this is
Codynet is a free network toolbox: DNS, RDAP, HTTP headers, TLS certificates, subnet math, multi-resolver compare, and bulk lookups. No accounts. No paywall. No upsell.
Who maintains it
Codynet is independently built and maintained as a practical network utility. It exists to provide quick, trustworthy answers from DNS, RDAP, TLS, HTTP, and subnet calculations without burying results under ads or retaining full result payloads.
Codynet is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or operated on behalf of any employer or organization.
Why it exists
Codynet talks to each protocol directly: DNS straight to a resolver, RDAP straight to the registry, and TLS straight to the server you ask about. No middleman wrapping public protocols in a proprietary API, and no rebranded data: just the answer the protocol actually returned.
Privacy by structure
- Determinism over decoration. Show the protocol’s real answer, with the real flags, TTLs, and error codes. If the resolver said
SERVFAIL, that’s what you see. - Limited operational analytics. Your History drawer lives in your browser. Codynet retains limited normalized query and request metadata for 90 days, not full result payloads. Ads, where shown, do not receive your queries.
- No vendor lock-in. Every result panel includes the equivalent
digorcurlcommand so you can verify the answer outside our site.
